New Thames-side hotel that brings a fresh perspective on London luxury

London’s skyline has a new jewel in its crown with the arrival of Park Hyatt London River Thames.

Perched on the banks of the Thames in the burgeoning Nine Elms district, this luxe retreat offers a fresh perspective on the capital.

With its prime riverside location, just a short walk from the revitalised Battersea Power Station, the hotel, which opened its doors on Tuesday (8 October), marries urban sophistication with a touch of residential charm.

The interiors, a contemporary nod to classic English style, feature bespoke artisanal details and powerful artwork, including Charlie Whinney’s mesmerising ‘Ebb and Flow’ installation.

Beyond the 203 elegantly appointed rooms, the hotel’s crowning glory is its Presidential Suite, offering sweeping views of the Thames.

The bars and restaurants embody the diversity of its surroundings, offering guests an assorted culinary journey through what promises to be one of London’s finest dining experiences.

The hotel’s Nine Elms Bar & Lounge offers an escape into the past

Each venue presents a unique atmosphere and flavonur, ensuring every visit is a memorable occasion. At The Nine Elms Kitchen & Terrace, guests can indulge in seasonal ingredients that are transformed into culinary masterpieces paying homage to London’s culture. The Nine Elms Bar & Lounge offers an escape into the past, enabling guests to unwind with signature cocktails.

And for those seeking refined indulgence, the TAMISé Wine Library and Tea Lounge presents an exquisite setting for sipping rare vintages or savouring artisanal teas.

“Bringing the flagship Park Hyatt hotel to life has been a privilege,” says Rike Erdbrink, the hotel’s general manager.

“This hotel embodies understated luxury, where personalised service and a warm atmosphere create a true sense of home and belonging in London.”
