Following the announcement that South Africa was re-opening its borders to international visitors looking to stay at least three months in the country, Mont Rochelle Hotel and Vineyard has invited UK visitors looking for a long-term stay to its beautiful private Manor House.
Forming part of the luxury collection of properties from Virgin Limited Edition, Mont Rochelle is set in the beautiful winelands of the Western Cape and long-stay international guests looking for a change of scenery and privacy will be able to take advantage of a special long-stay offer.
Boasting a unique hilltop setting and private vineyard encompassing 39 hectares, the area is internationally renowned for its winelands and stunning scenery.
The Manor House, pictured top of page, set away from the main hotel, is made up of four deluxe suites, and a bunk room for children, beautifully capturing that ‘home away from home’ feel whilst allowing guests to indulge in all the luxury of a hotel stay.

It is complete with two private swimming pools; one in the courtyard and the second facing the vineyards and mountains – the perfect spot to take some time out on one of the large loungers and soak up the spectacular scenery.
And for those looking to keep active there is also a gym and games room.
South Africa provides a warm and welcoming respite from the Northern Hemisphere Winter, where guests can enjoy sunnier climes for the remainder of 2020 and early part of 2021.

With complimentary WiFi and only a one hour time difference from the UK it’s easy to continue working remotely, enjoying views over the Klein Dassenberg mountain range as the new office backdrop.
Groups of up to eight adults and six children will be welcomed to make the Manor House their own for long stays of one month or more. Rates start from 35,000 Rand (£1,643) per night based on a Bed and Breakfast basis.
For individuals who don’t quite need all the space of a private Manor House, but want to take advantage of escaping to South Africa for a long-stay, then the Mont Rochelle Hotel also offers the perfect escape and individual rooms can be booked on a long-stay basis.
The property re-opened its doors in August with meticulous new cleaning and safety measures, so that guests have complete peace of mind at Mont Rochelle, no matter if staying overnight or dining in the two restaurants or enjoying the Spa.
