Five-star Fairmont St Andrews is undergoing £250,000 refurbishment of the resort’s pool and hydrotherapy facilities to further elevate its prestigious facilities. It will result in stunning new 16metre pool hall, Jacuzzi, aromatherapy steam room, sauna and shower experiences.
Due to re-open on 24 March, the newly renovated facilities will add to the already luxurious ten treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, fitness studio, recently upgraded gym featuring Life Fitness technology, and spinning bikes.
During the renovation, spa treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, changing/shower facilities and gym will remain unaffected with the renovation works. All fitness classes, with the exception of aqua based classes, will continue as normal.
John Keating, Fairmont St Andrews general manager, said. “We are committed to ensuring the hotel remains the preferred choice for many families and business clients alike, the spa renovations will allow us to provide the best hotel experience to our valued guests.”
The 520 acre Fairmont St Andrews resort encapsulates luxury, elegance and truly breathtaking surroundings in the ‘Home of Golf’.
In September 2017, it celebrated the completion of a multi-million pound interior refurbishment. The extensive 18-month programme saw a complete redesign of the hotel’s Atrium, incorporating a bespoke 60m long ceiling sculpture by award winning artist George Singer, a new restaurant and opening up the new lobby space to create a connection into the Kittocks Bar.
The resort’s suites and bathroom were also renovated as part of the wider investment throughout the resort.
