The Chancery brings a new vibe to the heart of Dublin’s historic ‘Little Italy’ district

Since its opening in the Spring, The Chancery hotel has become a new beacon of luxury in the heart of Dublin.

Located behind Dublin Castle, it offers guests a blend of modern sophistication, timeless design and exceptional service, providing a base from which to explore this vibrant city.

Dubbed Little Italy because of the Italian migrants who settled in the late 1800s, it has fast become one of the most sought after districts.

Guests can step out of the hotel onto a cobbled stone street and into a myriad of historic landmarks, local artisan eateries , museums and a wide choice of distilleries, iconic attractions and much, much more.

This independently owned hotel boasts 150 elegantly designed rooms and suites each unique in their look and feel. The focus for the design was centered around contemporary fixtures and fittings, combined with local artisanal features, including Phillipe Starck furniture and reclaimed Connemara marble throughout.

Some of the top tier suites offer expansive terraces with breathtaking views of the city skyline and the gardens of Dublin Castle, while some have access to small patios.

All rooms feature highly sophisticated, yet extremely easy to use in-room control panels to operate the state-of-the-art amenities, including electronically controlled curtains, blackout blinds, air-con and functional mood lighting and more.

Fawn, the hotel’s beautifully refined bistro, opens up onto a picturesque walled garden, allowing for natural light to flood the restaurant. It showcases the best of Irish produce with international flair, the perfect spot for a hearty breakfast to fuel your day, or an easy, yet delectable dinner.

The Bar at The Chancery offers a ‘speak-easy’ style enclave away from the bustling city centre. Guests are transported back to the 1800s, with views of lamp post-lit cobbled streets. Settle into your leather back chair and enjoy a carefully curated cocktail list, each made with homemade syrups and shaken by expert mixologists!

Says the hotel’s General Manager, Bríd Cloonan: “The Chancery hotel is committed to offering guests a distinctive and memorable experience.

“Sustainability is an integral part of our hotel culture and we have been certified with LEED Gold status which is the gold standard in rating systems for green buildings across the world and the hotel is also Green Hospitality Certified.”

The Chancery offers nightly rates from €220 on a B&B basis
