The iconic Sunborn London Yacht Hotel, moored by London’s ExCel centre, is remaining open throughout Lockdown 2 to welcome business travellers as well as key workers.
The super yacht, located in the Royal Victoria Docks, has precedent for this, having stayed open throughout the first lockdown, providing accommodation and food to NHS and key workers at the next door Nightingale Hospital.
As a result, Sunborn London perfected its operations surrounding safe cleaning, F&B preparations and general COVID-19 measures, while most hotels were still shut.
This stands the hotel in good stead to provide services throughout November.
