Eye-full power! Marriott Hotel County Hall’s new rooms and suites offer spellbinding views of London icons

The quintessentially British London Marriott Hotel County Hall brought in the New Year with 35 new river rooms and suites offering bigger and better views of iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.

Set in the former Greater London Council building on London’s South Bank, these new additions enhance the hotel’s celebrated experience.

The Big Ben Balcony Suites offer one or two interconnecting bedrooms, a spacious lounge area and a dining space for up to eight guests. Large private balconies provide sweeping views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

The South Bank Balcony Suite extends this offering further, with options for two or three interconnecting bedrooms, three bathrooms and a separate lounge, all overlooking the striking London Eye and River Thames.

For those seeking a more intimate experience, the Balcony Rooms offer a personal escape with a 180-degree perspectives of the Thames, while Loft Rooms present a unique layout with a staircase leading to a private viewing platform.

Rooted in the building’s 1922 origins as London’s former City Hall, the rooms and suites capture the essence of great British style combined with a contemporary twist.

Bespoke features include pocket-watch print curtains, bowler hat artwork and wallpaper which also doubles as a map of London. Marble bathrooms, luxury bedding and spacious layouts complete the refined yet playful atmosphere.

In addition, the hotel’s Club offers upgraded facilities for both hotel guests and members of the public with the purchase of a day pass or membership.

The new gym features the latest premium equipment from the wellness brand Technogym, while the 25-metre indoor swimming pool, flooded with natural daylight, provides a serene setting for relaxation and exercise.

Big Ben Balcony and South Bank Balcony Suites are priced from £900 per night including breakfast and M Club access; Balcony Rooms from £460 per night including breakfast; Loft Rooms from £300 per night, including breakfast.
