New era of Maldives hospitality beckons with June arrival of Hard Rock Hotel and SAii Lagoon

The CROSSROADS Maldives project takes a leap forward in June when Hard Rock Hotel and SAii Lagoon opens its doors as the first integrated multi-island resort destination of the island nation.

The island destination will also consist of a luxurious 30-berth yacht marina and world-class facilities, including Koimala and Maalimi’s Junior Beach Club and Camp, Watersports & Dive Centre and CROSSROADS Event Hall.

The project also hosts Maldives and Marine Discovery Centres, educating guests of all ages about the surrounding wildlife and inspiring its conservation.

Brimming with retail outlets and extensive dining choices, CROSSROADS welcomes day visitors as well as travellers with long layovers looking to soak up the last of the sunshine before the journey home. Guests can simply hop on a speedboat for a 15-minute boat transfer from Velana International Airport to enjoy its facilities.

Tropical atmosphere and contemporary design

At the heart of the Emboodhoo Lagoon, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives fuses tropical atmosphere and contemporary design, topped with curated music memorabilia and a regionally inspired twist.

178 expansive family suites, chic beach villas and unspoilt one and two-bedroom overwater villas lie in wait, alongside show-stopping activities and brand-signature amenities.

From Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and beachfront Yoga, to jam sessions, there is something for all ages. Young children can join the Roxity Kids Club mini circus, experience an introduction to music, or perform for parents in the hotel’s RoxStars Show.

Young adults are welcome at the Teen Spirit Club, whisking budding adventurers away on watersports excursions, leading sports competitions along the beach and hosting live jamming sessions. Both young and adult guests can engage in aerial arts, learn to juggle, trapeze, aerial hoop, jungle gym and more.

Guests can watch the expert chefs jam to music as they treat their taste buds at Sessions, take in mesmerising views of the lagoon accompanied with light bites at The Elephant and The Butterfly Pool Bar, or enjoy a more private in-villa dining experience.

Rooms at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives start from $450 per night inclusive of breakfast for two persons.

Personalised journey from start to finish

SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, is ideal for families, couples or friends looking for a unique escape, offering a personalised journey from start to finish.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with the chance to create their own bathroom amenities using natural ingredients from the resort’s Aroma Lab. An aroma specialist is on hand to explain the benefits of each scent and the precise techniques used to mix the ingredients.

Once guests are settled, they are invited to drop by Snap: Snack Box and pick up complimentary refreshments.

198 spacious guest rooms, beach villas and overwater villas are dotted across the tropical island, surrounded by al fresco spaces, spacious interiors and personalised comforts, all created with an eclectic yet artisanal touch.

Dining options include gourmet breakfasts at Café del Mar to lunch and dinner at Thai-Italian fusion restaurant, Mr Tomyam, and all-day dining at Miss Olive Oyl Restaurant, taking inspiration from the flavours of the Mediterranean land and sea.

Rooms at SAii Lagoon start from $350 per night inclusive of breakfast for two persons.
