easyHotel has arrived in Liverpool offering rooms for less than the price of a double Beatles album.
The owner, developer and operator of “super budget” branded hotels has opened its new 78-room hotel at 47 Castle Street within a three-minute walk of the Liverpool One shopping area and a 10-minute walk from the main rail station.
Modern rooms offer comfort, essential fittings, integrated bathrooms and thoughtful touches, such as integrated USB ports in bedside tables for easy charging of mobile devices.
Jorge Rodriguez, easyHotel’s marketing manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be opening our doors in Liverpool and we look forward to providing our trademark welcoming, affordable foothold for visitors to this amazing city.”
Renowned for its history and architecture, and once a key part of the banking district, Castle Street is a must-visit location for Liverpudlians and tourists alike. Castle Street plays host to the Liverpool Town Hall, the Queen Victoria Monument and a score of bars and restaurants, all less than half a mile from the waterfront.
The upper floors of the existing building at 47 Castle Street have been converted into easyHotel, with the reception on the first floor and a restaurant operated by a third party on the ground floor.
The hotel offers simple, stylish, ensuite rooms in the brand’s “new-look” format for as little as £9.99 a night.
